Christian Aeschbach
Photographer · Zürich, Switzerland
My interests: Structures and contrasts – the sculptural nude, landscapes, and graphic elements.
Harmony and aesthetics: The beauty of nature…
Christian Aeschbach, born the last time Lake Zurich froze over, came from a family of graphic designers and artists in Zurich. He trained as a secondary school teacher and holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Educational Management, and is now happily retired.
My interest in photography developed alongside my passion for mountaineering and ski touring: rocks, structures, and contrasts—light and stone—formed the focus of my work. Over time, the female form became part of my repertoire. Today, sculptural nudes, landscapes, and graphic elements are central to my work. This results in pieces that combine these elements. Plants and animals—especially insects—are also cherished subjects.
It is always important to me to express harmony and aesthetics in my images: the beauty of nature…
